Today marks a milestone we've been building toward for months. WeShare — a platform to rent anything from anyone — is officially open for listings.
The idea is simple: there are trillions of dollars worth of assets sitting idle in garages, driveways, and storage units around the world. A power drill used for 12 minutes. A kayak out three weekends a year. A camera collecting dust between shoots. WeShare exists to put those assets to work — for their owners and for the people who need them.
What you can list today
At launch, WeShare supports listings across six core categories:
- Vehicles— cars, vans, scooters, bikes
- Vacation Homes— short-term rentals, holiday lets
- Workspaces— desks, studios, meeting rooms
- Event Equipment— tents, sound gear, lighting
- Electronics— cameras, drones, laptops
- Designer Wear— fashion, accessories
What's coming next
This is just phase one. We're already building trust and safety tools, a host protection programme, and the community hub features that will make WeShare more than just a marketplace. Stay tuned.
